Event Terms and Policies
Food & Allergen Disclaimer
We do our best to avoid cross-contamination, but we cannot guarantee any item is safe for those with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg, or wheat allergies. If you have concerns, please speak with your event sales representative for more ingredient information.
Per FDA and local health rules, we must dispose of all buffet food after service. Guests are not allowed to take ready-to-eat buffet food to go, whether using our containers or their own.
Minimum Spending Requirement Terms
Guests must meet the minimum spending amount. If this minimum isn’t met by the time of the event, the difference will be charged as a room rental fee. If spending goes over the minimum, the guest is responsible for the full amount. Room rental fees may be charged the next business day as a separate charge if not paid on-site.
Pickleball Disclaimer
All players must create a free account in Court Reserve before playing. Please check in 10 minutes before your reserved time.
Decoration Restrictions
Confetti and glitter are strictly prohibited. A $250 clean-up fee will apply if any are found in the event space.
Terms and Conditions
Minimum Spending Requirement
All event spaces at Court To Table have a required minimum spend. The specific amount will be agreed upon before your event. Food, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and games count toward the minimum. Taxes, service fees, and admin fees do not count toward the minimum. If you don’t meet the minimum, the difference will be charged as a room rental fee.
Food & Beverage Policies
- We take steps to reduce cross-contamination, but we cannot guarantee any food is safe for those with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg, or wheat allergies.
- Clients must speak with their event sales representative in advance for ingredient information.
- All food and drinks must be provided and prepared by Court To Table.
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted, except for desserts from a licensed bakery or store in a sealed container with clearly labeled ingredients.
- Event food and beverages must be consumed on-site and cannot be packaged for takeout.
- No outside alcohol is allowed; ID will be required to verify legal drinking age.
- Anyone under 21 caught drinking or providing alcohol will be asked to leave the property.
Menus & Guaranteed Attendees
- Menu selection must be finalized 14 days before the event.
- The final guest count and all event details must be confirmed 7 days before the event.
- No decreases accepted after confirmation; increases will be accommodated if possible but not guaranteed.
- $50 per additional attendee above the confirmed count will be charged.
- If no guarantee is provided, charges will be based on the original estimate or actual attendees, whichever is higher.
Billing
A 50% deposit and signed Event Agreement are required to confirm the event. Final pre-payment is due three (3) business days before the event. A 18% service charge and 5% administrative fee apply to food, drinks, room rentals, and activities.
By signing the agreement, you consent to Court To Table charging your credit card for any additional costs up to 72 hours after your event. Proof of sales tax exemption must be provided at least 48 hours before the event.
Event Refund, Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
Within 7 Days
100% of funds paid and total event cost are forfeited; no refunds or credits issued.
8–30 Days Before
- 100% of funds paid retained.
- 50% of total event cost forfeited.
- Remaining balance may be credited toward a future event of equal or greater value within 12 months.
31+ Days Before
- Rescheduled events: 100% payment credited toward a future event within 12 months.
- Canceled (non-rescheduled) events: 25% of funds paid forfeited; 75% refunded.
Weather Policy
- Outdoor event bookings assume all weather-related risks.
- If weather conditions make the space unusable, Court To Table will try to relocate indoors if space is available but cannot guarantee it.
- Weather Plan may be implemented up to 24 hours before the event.
Weather Plan Options
- No Changes — Proceed as planned (day-of changes incur $125 fee).
- Relocation — Attempt to move indoors; not guaranteed and may not be private.
- Cancellation — Handled per Event Refund, Cancellation & Reschedule Policy.
Decorations, Signage, and Use of Space
- All decorations must be approved in advance.
- Confetti and glitter prohibited; $250 clean-up fee applies if found.
- No attachment to venue surfaces with damaging materials.
- Client responsible for any damage and repair costs.
- Decorating allowed 30 minutes before event start; early access or extended time may incur fees.
Outside Vendors
- Vendors must be approved at least 7 days before the event.
- No outside food or alcohol vendors allowed.
- Client responsible for vendor compliance and costs.
Liability
- Court To Table may inspect/manage all private events.
- Client responsible for venue damage; $225 admin fee plus repair costs apply.
- Not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
- Client indemnifies Court To Table against injury claims caused by negligence.
- Damage claims limited to amount paid for the event.
- Disputes resolved in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
- Event insurance may be required.
- By attending, guests assume all risks related to communicable diseases.
